Max Holcombe Jr. and his father, Max Holcombe Sr. of Mars Hill, NC went to be with the Lord peacefully on November 25, 2016. He was born on September 16, 1979. Max is survived by his three children Max Holcombe III, Tyler Holcombe, and Adriane Holcombe; his mother Teresa Smith; his sister and brother-in-law, Sarina and David Hughes; his nephew Jacob Metcalf, niece Elizabeth Scarpa; and long-time significant other, Alyssa Pride. Max was a long-time resident of Asheville and Weaverville. He enjoyed working on cars, watching Sponge Bob and horror movies, and spending time with his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Blue Ridge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 27, Mars Hill,NC 28754 to help pay for arrangements. Memorial services will be held at the North Buncombe Church of God, 19 South Main Street Extension, Weaverville, NC 28787, on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
