Philip Wiley Council, age 59, died peacefully at his home Wednesday, March 28, 2018. He was born August 22, 1958 to James and Glennis Thomas Council. Philip was preceded in death by his father, James Wiley, brother, Edwin Eugene and grandson, Bentley James Council.
He is survived by his mother Glennis Thomas Council; sons, Philip “Joey”, Edwin and James; brother, Claude; nephew, Jonathan, and granddaughter, Kadence Council.
Services will be held at 7:00 pm, Monday, April 2, 2018 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Rev. Lamar Burnette officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
